The Monochrome (B&W) Flush mountable Weatherproof Armordome camera shall be a Weldex WDDF-1400F. The camera shall feature a 1/3" interline transfer Sony CCD pickup device. The camera shall produce a horizontal resolution of 430 lines and a signal-to-noise ratio of 50dB or greater. The camera's Digital Signal Processing (DSP) shall feature digital back light compensation that is selectable on and off (BLC). The camera shall display usable monochrome pictures at a scene illumination of 0.03 lux (f/1.2). The camera synchronization shall be internal with line-lock (phase adjustable). The video signal shall be transmitted up to 900' over coaxial cable (RG-6). The camera shall have a BNC video output connector. The camera shall include internal, manually adjustable gimbals that will provide movement of the CCD circuit board and lens. The internal gimbals shall have movement on the X,Y,Z axis points (Pan / Tilt / Rotation) that will allow for correct orientation of the CCD image while mounted on a surface. The camera shall include a variable focal D-mount lens of 4mm - 9mm with an option of a 2.6mm - 6mm variable focal D-mount lens. The variable focal lens shall further have be an ALC servo lens (automatic iris lens) that is DC driven. The camera will additionally feature an Electronic Light Control (ELC) (equivalent to continuous variable shutter speed between 1/60 sec. and 1/100,000 sec.) which is selectable on and off. The power source shall be 24VAC, 60Hz (40VA / 1.66Amp). The camera shall have a lead-wire for power input. The camera shall be enclosed in an all steel housing base with lexan (polycarbonate) dome cover. The dome cover shall be 1/8" thick and withstand repeated impacts from an 8lb sledge hammer. The dome cover shall be smoked to reduce the amount of light and reflection on the interior of the dome housing (-1 f-stop). The dome housing cover shall be held in place on the metal base with tamper-proof fasteners. The assembled dome housing shall provide limited protection for the camera and lens from dust and water. The dome housing shall be intended for outdoor and indoor use and have a rating of NEMA Type 4. The camera housing shall have mounting hole alignment for standard deep (2 1/2") double gang-box (4-square). The camera shall withstand a temperature range of -22 degrees F to +158 degrees F. The camera's dimensions shall not exceed 7.25" Diameter (Including Trim Ring) x 4.55" Height.
